Vote for Harry Boparai

Your Local Liberal Democrat Candidate

Harry Boparai is widely predicted to be the first MP for Spelthorne who actually lives in the constituency. Already a County and Borough Councillor for Spelthorne, Harry passionately wants to improve the lives of his community even further by being elected to represent them in the House of Commons. On here, you can find out about Harry and his work for the community. You will also find details about how to contact him and his team.

Spelthorne has been a safe Conservative seat for as long as anyone can remember, but in 2023 the Liberal Democrats made history as the Conservatives lost an election in Spelthorne for the first time.

Now that the General Election has been called the two other parties have parachuted in their candidates from outside Spelthorne as usual. Harry lives in Spelthorne &, as a local borough & county councillor, he has been helping local residents resolve their issues for two years. No wonder previous supporters of all parties are voting for Harry this time. Spelthorne deserves a local MP.

A leaked internal Labour Party document revealed that Labour has given up on Spelthorne.

Labour activists in Spelthorne are being advised to go to Crawley, which is the nearest winnable seat.

"I am delighted that Harry has been appointed as the Parliamentary candidate to represent the Liberal Democrats in Spelthorne in the up-and- coming General election. Spelthorne needs an MP who lives in the constituency and cares for our community. Harry has a heart, and he also gets things done. As a local councillor, he has solved many issues which had been ignored for years."
Chris Bateson
Deputy Leader of Spelthorne Council
